Jardana is the author of the “Practice Showing Up Guidebook” an anthology for white people working for racial justice, which has been downloaded over 23,000 times internationally.
Over the span of her career she has helped to found six social justice organizations including the U.S. based network, Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ). She served as lead facilitator and curriculum designer for trainings on anti-racism and social justice at the Anne Braden Institute for Social Justice Research, U.S. Social Forum, to the Highlander Research and Education Center, Curvy Yoga and more.
She is currently director and teacher at Liberation School. Client organizations span New York, London, Mexico City and rural centers as well.
Jardana is a 500 hour certified yoga practitioner and teacher, having studied traditional yoga and holistic healing for over 15 years.
Her writings on the intersection of spiritual health and social justice been been featured in the Huffington Post, Feminist Wire, Elephant Journal and other online publications.
Jardana lives with her partner and their two children in Louisville, Kentucky.
